While in lockdown, our young people have been discussing ways to remain active and energised by setting mini-goals. At a recent online youth group session, we discussed the possibility of setting and breaking bespoke ‘World Records’ which were not only good fun but would make a positive contribution to their families, friends and communities. One young person decided to set a new record for the most wildflowers planted in three hours, to brighten up a local woodland do their bit to help the environment.

The idea grew and we decided to write and produce a short film to inspire other young people to set and hopefully break their own ‘World Records’

Thanks to funding from the Lancashire COVID-19 Community Support Fund we commissioned Handstand Productions to assist us with the filming and editing of our eight-minute film.

In late July, a small team of young people travelled to Toxteth TV Studios in Liverpool to shoot the movie!

We hope the film inspires you to set and break your own World Records:
