Ancestral Journeys

During spring 2022, Lancashire Youth Challenge supported a team of young Muslim men from Preston to engage in an intergenerational project, which explored their individual and family members heritage.

Omar Khan and his team at Preston United Youth Development Programme wanted to develop this short project to educate and inform their young men about the history of their ancestral homeland and the mass migration of people from the Indian sub-continent to the UK.
