2014 TOWER TO TOWER – LONDON TO PARIS CYCLE CHALLENGE

Following the success of our first challenge in 2013, one of the participants encouraged us to attempt a far more ambitious challenge this year, and suggested the Tower to Tower Challenge, cycling from Tower Bridge in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Over six days we cycled from London to Portsmouth, took an overnight Ferry to Saint-Malo and then meandered through the beautiful French countryside, stopping overnight at serval small towns until eventually arriving in the centre of Paris!!

Our team of intrepid adventurers undertook a six month gruelling physical training programme  in preparation for our expedition; developing their core fitness, endurance and resilience.

Similar to last year, our young people were eager to use this challenge to raise funds for local and national charities and they chose to support ‘Shine’, a charity which supports young people and families living with  Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
